SaigeJenTaylor is a unique home, garden and antique shoppe in historic Irwin, Pennsylvania. We offer a large selection of merchandise to satisfy your need to complete a decorating idea in any room or garden. Small samplings of our vendors are Demdacco dinnerware, Westerwald pottery, LE Smith glass, and CBK lamps. We add new vendors monthly and our antique selection is always changing.
SaigeJenTaylor was founded on our love to decorate and pull together colors and unique finds to create a vignette that compliments your taste and your desires. When we choose merchandise, we rely on our instincts to let us know if the item will work for our customers. Our antiques are chosen for the quality and uniqueness that they offer. The arrangements or wall treatments are made to order, taking into account color, size, decorating style and personal tastes. The three partners of SaigeJenTaylor have many years of experience in creating exciting ideas for one’s home or an original piece for a special place in your room. |
The name SaigeJenTaylor is a combination of Jan Patterson’s three granddaughter’s; Saige, Jen, and Taylor. SaigeJenTaylor’s artistic concept was well thought out by the creator, Jan Patterson. Jan’s passing in June of 2006 was a heartbreaking event to all of her family and friends. She was an incredible inspiration to all. Jan’s unique ideas are translated into decorating themes at the store by the other two partners, her daughters, Tammy DiMartino and Kathy Patterson Young. Tammy and Kathy’s grandmother, Frances Phillians is a strong influence at the store by making the pot holders, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and other assorted items. Fran teaches weekly quilting classes at SaigeJenTaylor. |
Classes are another reason to come and visit with SaigeJenTaylor. Quilting classes are offered every Thursday from 1:00pm- 3:00pm. Previous classes included garden classes on perennials, shade gardens, and planning a garden. This fall, we had a canning class that had tasteful examples of canned food. A tole painting class was held to make a great holiday decoration. Check the schedule frequently for upcoming events. |
